Hello there! My name is John Smith and I’m an expert in the tobacco industry with over 20 years of experience. I started my career working for a few of the major tobacco companies in the US like Phillip Morris and RJ Reynolds where I learned the ins and outs of tobacco production, manufacturing, and marketing.
After gaining invaluable hands-on experience, I decided to branch out on my own as an independent consultant. I’ve since worked with tobacco farmers, retailers, and even public health organizations to help them better understand this complex industry. Though certainly not without its controversies, I find the science, agriculture, and business side of tobacco fascinating.
These days, I split my time between my tobacco consulting work and serving on the boards of several industry groups. I’m proud to have been recognized with awards from the Tobacco Growers Association for my contributions to agricultural innovation. One of my most rewarding accomplishments was developing a new mentorship program to provide guidance and support for aspiring tobacco farmers.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me outdoors fly fishing or hiking with my loyal golden retriever Sparky. I love exploring new fishing spots and making new discoveries out in nature. I’m based in the beautiful Appalachian region of North Carolina which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures.
